Head of Sales – Healthcare

We are recruiting on behalf of an established international organisation operating within the lighting and building solutions sector. Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Sales – Healthcare to lead and grow its healthcare lighting division across the UK.
This is a senior, strategic role focused on developing the healthcare market through opportunity identification, relationship building and the delivery of effective business development and sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities

Act as a healthcare sector specialist, supporting the wider sales team in accessing and converting healthcare opportunities.

Build and develop new customer networks across contractors, end users, specifiers and key stakeholders.

Develop and implement a detailed national sales plan aligned with regional sales strategies.

Identify growth opportunities within healthcare estates management and new-build construction markets.

Ensure the business is approved on appropriate frameworks to access healthcare projects.

Identify and represent the business at relevant healthcare conferences and exhibitions.

Influence product strategy and contribute to targeted marketing campaigns.
Skills & Experience Required

Strong understanding of the lighting, construction or building services sector, with demonstrable experience within healthcare lighting.

Proven track record of building profitable, long-term business partnerships and delivering commercial results.

Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

Confident relationship builder who collaborates effectively with internal stakeholders.

Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Positive, solutions-focused mindset with an interest in technology and innovation.

Curious and proactive approach to continuous improvement and professional development.

High level of IT literacy, including MS Office; experience with SAP and Salesforce is advantageous but not essential.
