About the Role:

As the Demand Creation Manager, you'll be the bridge between our suppliers, internal sales team, and the market. Your goal will be to identify and create opportunities within targeted customers, leveraging product expertise to influence design decisions that drive demand. You’ll have the chance to work closely with our field sales, supplier partners, and key accounts to generate qualified leads, convert those into sales, and ensure our products are embedded in our customers’ designs from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account & Opportunity Development: Work with the sales team to identify and engage new and existing customers, understanding their needs and providing product solutions that create demand.
  • Technical Product Promotion: Promote our product offerings and technologies by providing technical insights that solve customer challenges and position us as a trusted partner.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with design engineers, purchasing teams, and key stakeholders within targeted accounts to influence design and purchasing decisions.
  • Collaboration with Suppliers: Partner with supplier representatives to develop strategies that align with our customers' needs and ensure our portfolio’s competitive edge.
  • Market Insight & Strategy: Stay informed on market trends, customer requirements, and new opportunities to contribute to strategic planning.
  • Sales Support: Provide the sales team with the technical resources and training needed to effectively promote and position products.
  • Trade Shows & Events: Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to strengthen our market presence and establish new connections.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Industry Expertise: Previous experience in electronics distribution, technical sales, or demand creation with a focus on electronic components or semiconductors is essential.
  • Technical Knowledge: Background in electronics or a technical understanding of components, such as semiconductors, interconnect, or passive products.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven ability to identify and create opportunities, with a track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets.
  • Relationship-Driven: Exceptional interpersonal skills to build strong customer relationships and influence decision-makers.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to develop and execute strategies for market penetration and demand generation.
  • Team-Oriented: Collaborative spirit to work with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Several years of experience in demand creation, technical sales, or a similar role within the electronics industry.
