Our client are leaders in the semiconductor wafer fab manufacturing industry and are looking for strong, senior level Equipment Maintenance Technicians to join their team in Oregon.
The Equipment Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining the performance and reliability of production equipment. This position requires strong technical skills in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing various manufacturing tools and systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure minimal downtime and efficient operations, playing a key role in keeping the production environment running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled and un-scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates reliably and efficiently.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment issues in a timely manner.

Respond promptly to equipment failures, working to minimize production downtime.

Collaborate with engineers and machine operators to identify root causes of equipment malfunctions and implement long-term corrective solutions.

Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts usage, and equipment condition reports.

Manage and maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts and tools necessary for equipment maintenance.

Adhere to safety standards and ensure that all equipment is compliant with relevant health and safety regulations.

Perform equipment calibration and alignment tasks as required by production specifications.

Assist in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing equipment performance and reducing operational costs.

Support the installation and qualification of new equipment by providing technical expertise and assistance
