The Business Analyst (BA) will play a key role in bridging business needs and technology solutions, working within Agile delivery teams to ensure software and AI features deliver measurable business value while adhering to ethical and governance standards.

The Role
The BA will capture, analyse, and translate business and AI requirements into functional and technical specifications for OutSystems development. You will collaborate closely with Solution Architects, AI specialists, and development teams to define solutions that are compliant, explainable, and aligned with responsible AI principles.

What you need to bring to the party!

Skills & Experience
Essential:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in Agile or low-code environments.

  • Knowledge of OutSystems and its AI capabilities.

  • Understanding of AI fundamentals, including machine learning, NLP, and automation. (This is vital and not just some experience with a chatbot)

  • Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Familiarity with data protection and AI ethics principles (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act).

Desirable:

  • Certified OutSystems Associate or Specialist.

  • Experience with AI-assisted delivery tools or intelligent automation.

  • Exposure to AI governance frameworks (ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF).

  • Experience in AI prompt engineering, use-case scoping, or model lifecycle documentation.
