Are you are a Sales professional with a strategic mindset, and a proven track record of developing new business relationships? This is an opportunity to make a major impact on a US based, family owned business with 45 years of history.
 
We are working with a major electronics component manufacturer with 45 years of history and an exceptional reputation as a market leader in their niche. They are seeking a Market Development Manager with a track record of acquiring new customers or regenerating relationships with warm accounts.
 
Your daily work
 
  • Your sales area will be Denmark, where you will be regenerating warm accounts and acquiring new local customers for the business
  • You will be trusted to take initiative in your work, as you build a commercial strategy to develop the business.
  • You will be a highly valued member of the Sales team, involved in key decision making conversations about strategy and commercial approach.
  • You will be supported by a highly effective sales team, including a Field Sales Engineer who you will work closely with, as well as Inside Sales support, Field Application Engineers, and a Key Account Manager.
  • You'll work remotely from somewhere within the sales region and be encouraged to travel frequently to client sites to introduce the business in the best way.
 
 
What we need from you
 
  • Professional commercial or technical experience / education
  • Native level language skills in Danish
  • Experience in the field of electronic components such as Passive Components, Interconnect Components, or Semiconductors is desirable, but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills and commercial relationship building experience, with a proven track record in new customer acquisition.
  • The ability to identify and develop opportunities based on an extensive customer database
  • You must be a proactive field-based salesperson who could target 6-8 customer visits per week. 
  • A home base in the Copenhagen region
  • A registered driver's license for your country.
